Can I track users across different websites?

Yes, users coming from different websites will have the same ID as long as you use an API key in the same Project. Please ensure you are legally authorized to track a user before invoking the API. However, our current tracking is heavily dedicated to protecting single domains. Cross-site applications will likely have degraded persistence over time compared to single-site applications. We are actively developing alternative methodology to enable bespoke cross-site tracking over longer periods of time.

Can I use this as a sole authentication method, with no other credentials?

While technically possible, it is strongly discouraged to rely solely on the clusterUUID or hash for user authentication. Neither the clusterUUID nor the hash should be considered a secure or reliable authentication method without being paired with another mechanism, such as with a username and password.

How can I increase the API key rate limit?

To request a higher rate limit, please contact us.

What is your uptime?

Our team monitors systems across time zones to respond to issues quickly. For non-critical cases, response time depends on severity.
